Trekking with Uganda’s mountain gorillas: The pearl of the Pearl of Africa

I was thrilled to have the opportunity earlier this year to go trekking with mountain gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had (and I know I’ve been lucky to have had some really incredible experiences in my life).

I was asked to write about the experience for S.E.E. Africa magazine, a beautiful glossy put out by Afro Tourism based in Lagos, Nigeria and Washington, DC.  I was pretty excited to learn that my piece is the cover story.
