Exhausted? You can do something about it (unlike this dog in Peru)
I’ve been busy — too busy — writing articles for magazines and websites recently, so haven’t done much for my own website.
Are you feeling too busy too? Then you may want to read these two recent wellness articles I wrote:
- For Reader’s Digest: I was a burned-out workaholic for 20 years — till this changed everything. It’s a personal essay about my life before becoming a travel writer, and has important mental health messages to remember regardless of which career you have.
- Published on International Sleep Day (March 15) for Apartment Therapy, about dealing with insomnia. It includes portable sleep tricks for people like me who are often sleeping on planes and in hotel rooms: How I curated by bedroom to help deal with my insomnia.
Expect more wellness articles to come, based on my experience with burnout and the stress management coaching and workshops I’m now providing.
Questions? Please feel free to ask. Stress-related illnesses are tough to deal with, but it’s possible to both prevent and recover from them.
