Travel writer / photographer Johanna Read gives an interactive talk about how to make your international trip the best ever, with tips and tricks to :
- plan but not over plan,
- pack light,
- be confident and blend in,
- stay safe and healthy, and
- avoid scams, touts and problems.
She’ll also share some simple things tourists can do to leave a destination in better shape than they found it.
Johanna would be happy to answer your travel questions and give tips for any of the places she’s been recently (Morocco, Tunisia, Barcelona, Paris, Peru, Ecuador / Galápagos, Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia), New Zealand, Australia, Panama, Namibia, South Africa, and China).
