My advice:

• First take a cruise — it is really the only way to see the remote places where most of the animals are.
• Then you’ll need a hotel stay to relax after all those early mornings, excursions and evening slide shows.  Plus you’ll want time to check out Ecuador’s prettiest beach (on Santa Cruz) and play with the sea lions in Isabela’s port.
