P1290888Do you like to travel where none of your friends have been?  Hunan, China should be on your radar, before it gets on anyone else’s.

Here’s my latest China piece, this one for New Jetsetters.  It’s about the historical town of Phoenix (Fenghuang).  Because it is popular with domestic Chinese tourists — yet almost unknown to westerners — there’s an intriguing interplay of the timeless and modern which I found both fascinatingly fun.
