I was lucky to spend almost a week in Whistler in June 2014, checking out how much Whistler had changed since my last visit (in, ummm, 1986!)
The village was gorgeous, the hotels and restaurants incredible, and the views …. oh, the views!
For an overview of what to do in Whistler, check out my Summer in Whistler Ski Village (although everything I recommend you can do in the winter too, except the Aura Restaurant foraging class).
For places to stay, I reviewed and loved:
- Fairmont Chateau Whistler (which gives the sweet dreams chocolates of my dreams …)
- Nita Lake Lodge
And if you’re hungry, make sure you stop in Araxi restaurant — plus pick up their cookbook to recreate the deliciousness at home.
Many thanks to Tourism Whistler for arranging and hosting all my activities; to Nita Lake Lodge for my stay, foraging class and dinner; and Fairmont Chateau Whistler for my stay.
